These projects involved the development of systems gathering and processing traffic data and distribution of traffic information to third parties, TMC and internet sites.

Project manager for the implementation of an urban traffic management system for the south west region of Holland.
On behalf of a consortium a provider of traffic systems, a technology provider and a provider of traffic information, Berend was responsible for all aspects of the project.
Goal of the project was to set u pan organization, and an infrastructure to collect urban traffic data and to provide services through the internet and mobile devices.
